Site Helps Kids Create Video Cartoons

POSTED: 10:57 am EST November 13, 2006

Tired of your kids spending hours glued to the TV watching cartoons? Now there's a new way that your kids can create their very own cartoons.

On Nickelodeon's TurboNick.com, young viewers can make their own video cartoons using scenes from favorites such as "SpongeBob SquarePants."

Using the scenes from the shows, combined with graphics and sounds, kids can make their own cartoon creations and then share them with their friends.

Just drag and drop pictures, graphics and transitions into the site's editor. Then click "preview" to watch your cartoon. You can make changes or delete scenes. Once you are done, click "save." You can create a free account with the site to save and share your cartoons.
