BOSTON -- Traffic is jammed. There’s an accident, breakdown, construction or medical emergency ahead.What do you do? Sit there and wait for traffic to clear or do you take action and work around it? Alternate routes may save time, and may be a better way to go, if for no other reason than you feel like you’re taking action.Jeff Larson of SmartRoutes has prepared this is a summary of some of the more commonly used alternates in the metro Boston area.
