There are hundreds of social networking sites for teenagers and college students, and now there is new site created just for parents.

ParentsConnect.com has dozens of message boards based on your child's age and stage of development. There are topics such as adoption, homeschooling, preschool and family humor.

You can register with the site to create a profile and add your own blog. You'll be able to search for other parents who share your interests or have kids the same age as yours.

Check out the site's "Local Guide" section for a list of kid-friendly events and activities in your town. There are also links to find after-school activities and programs and organizations that offer kids help with their homework.

If you have a favorite Web site you'd like to see featured, or suggestions for a story idea, click here to e-mail Jamy your suggestions.
