Eventful.com will tell you where your favorite acts are playing or performing. The site has a new section that lets music fans request venues for bands to play. It also gives book lovers a place to request readings.

Just log onto the site to create a demand for a band or event. Once demand hits a specific number, Eventful will approach the band or author with your request. The site will let you know if a band agrees to perform at the place you requested.

You can also use the site as a social-networking tool to post community events in your town.
