In the market for a new home? You no longer have to sit in front of your computer mulling over long MLS listings.

Some realtors are turning toward podcasting. Potential buyers can download real estate listings to listen to on iPods and MP3 players.

Podcasting works like TiVo, which lets you watch, record and store your favorite TV shows, but podcasting is for audio and is free of charge.

Some realtors are using iTunes Music Service so video and audio files can be downloaded from the iTunes onto an iPod or PC. Users can subscribe to updates of the realty listings.

Descriptions of each property and the listing agent and selling agent, days on market, rooms, bathrooms and some other pertinent listing information will be included.
