A singles columnist is conducting a nationwide search online to hire the ideal temporary husband.

Angela Manfredi has launched a Web site to help her find the perfect candidate for a marriage experiment. But, she is not looking for love. Instead, she's looking for a success-minded man to help her experience the practical side of marriage for two weeks during the summer.

He'll attend dinner parties, help her with her car repairs and perform other "husbandly" tasks around the house.

The person chosen will be paid a two-week salary for participating in the experiment. He must be single, over 21 and not allergic to cats.

Just log onto Angela's site to download an application. You'll be asked to submit two photos and a videotape showcasing your personality.

Entries will be accepted through Aug. 11. Accommodations will be provided at the "job site" in Del Ray, Fla.
