BOSTON -- Google wants to cut down on the headaches this holiday season.

It's adding a free tool designed to make it easier for consumers to map out trips to the mall.

If you're looking for a specific gift, you can now log on to Google's www.froogle.google.com shopping site.

The site will poinpoint the stores that sell that item within a designated ZIP code. It also lists the price differences.

Google said it wants to help shoppers avoid the frustration of traveling to a store that no longer has an item on their shopping lists.
