The Public Relations Department at WCVB-TV plays an integral role in the success of the station's programming. This department is in constant communication with other media outlets regarding programming, ratings and awards which have been given to the station.

Intern duties include:

Compile clips from the daily papers about the television industry.

Give station tours to public groups.

Write press releases and articles for internal newsletter.

Answer outside requests for station and on-air talent information.

The student considered for this internship must have strong writing and interpersonal communication skills. Writing samples are requested. The student also must be able to receive college credit.
