CityLine is Channel 5's weekly urban news and feature magazine program that airs on Sundays at 12:30 p.m. The program explores an array of subjects ranging from serious issues such as public housing, health care and energy needs to more entertaining topics such as dance, ethnic restaurants, celebrity profiles and author interviews. Each week, this locally-produced program focuses on three subjects, examining the important facets of each issue to produce a high-quality, high-interest program.

This jam-packed, very rewarding internship offers hands-on experience. All interns come away from CityLine with something concrete for their resume reel.

Duties include:

Researching story ideas and booking guests.

Assisting with field production.

Writing show promotions.

Dealing with viewer queries.

Eventually writing and producing a long-format piece for broadcast.

Hours are flexible, but twice a week is mandatory.

A car is needed.
