The Consumer Report intern will assist in the production of consumer report stories.

Some of the intern's duties will include:

Responding to viewer mail.

Locating resources, contacts, and research materials.

The individual considered for this position should have an interest in consumer issues and work well under deadline pressure. Familiarity with newsroom operations or television producing is a plus. Good typing skills, spelling and knowledge of computers is also important. Special consideration is given to applicants who have worked at a student newspaper, radio or television station.

Willingness to learn and adapt quickly and retain professionalism are a must. This internship is a rewarding and challenging position. It is also an integral part of a small, but productive team. It works best for someone who can commit full time.
