Veronica Haynes joined the Boston Channel.com Web staff in 2003 after working with ABC News in Boston where she wrote articles for abcnews.com's health section.
While at ABC, Haynes also researched and developed stories for ABC News programs, including Good Morning America, 20/20 and World News Tonight.Before working at ABC, Haynes worked at ABC affiliate WPVI-TV in Philadelphia, where she worked in the news department's medical unit writing and field producing segments for the station's broadcasts.Haynes' work at TheBostonChannel.com contributed to the site being awarded the prestigious Edward R. Murrow award for Best TV News Web site in the New England region in 2004, 2005 and 2007 by the Radio and Television News Directors Association (RTNDA).A native of Massachusetts, Haynes attended Westfield State College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis on television production and broadcasting.She and her husband, Greg, live in the Boston area.Haynes can be reached at vhaynes@thebostonchannel.com
