Randy Price

Randy Price is an anchor of the Eyeopener newscast on WCVB-TV. He also contributes to breaking news and major event coverage for NewsCenter 5 and The BostonChannel.com.

During Price's distinguished career in Boston he has been honored with numerous humanitarian and professional awards, including a national Edward R. Murrow Award for best newscast, the broadcast industry’s highest honor.

He has regularly reported from the scene of major stories involving New Englanders, such as the war in Afghanistan, the Challenger shuttle explosion, the impeachment of President Bill Clinton and numerous New Hampshire presidential primaries.

Price is also well known in New England’s civic and philanthropic communities, regularly volunteering his time to raise funds and awareness for a wide variety of causes.

He is a native of Louisiana and began his career in television with the American Forces Radio and Television service as a member of the U.S. Air Force. Randy is married and lives in Kittery Point, Maine.
