GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Ryan Longwell's third field goal of the game, a 28-yarder, 5:17 into overtime, gave Green Bay a 16-13 victory over Detroit in an NFC North matchup at a frigid Lambeau Field. Samkon Gado rushed for a Packers' rookie-record 171 yards on 29 carries and had Green Bay's lone touchdown with a 64-yard burst in the second quarter. Brett Favre went 21-of-31 for 170 yards with an interception and became the first player in NFL history to record 14 seasons of over 3,000 passing yards for Green Bay (3-10), which snapped a three-game slide. Favre had shared the record with Dan Marino. The Lions (4-9), who dropped their fourth in a row and fell to 0-2 under interim head coach Dick Jauron, lost for the 15th straight time to the Packers on the road. Detroit hasn't won in Wisconsin since 1991. Jeff Garcia finished 13-of-24 for 112 yards and a touchdown for Detroit.
