Brewers Giving Away Free Tickets To Final Home Game

POSTED: 4:41 pm EDT September 15, 2005

The Milwaukee Brewers announced Wednesday that their final home game of the season will be free of charge.

It's the first time in team history that the Brewers have provided free tickets to fans attending a regular season home game.

Starting now, fans can get up to eight tickets per person for the Sept. 29 game, which is a Thursday afternoon contest against Cincinnati.

You can get them online at www.MilwaukeeBrewers.com or through the Miller Park box office.

There's a $5 per order service charge for tickets by phone, no charge if you pick them up in person. By Internet there's a $2 per ticket, $2 per order processing fee.

Season ticket holders and fans who already have tickets will get a voucher for any April home game next season.

There will be a limit of eight tickets per person, while supplies last.

The Brewers encourage fans who attend this game to make a donation to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Effort Fund.

Donations will be accepted at a table located on the Miller Park Home Plate Concourse (near section 118) from the time that gates open through the conclusion of the seventh inning.
