(Sports Network) - The Dallas Stars begin a four-game road trip tonight in Minnesota, where they will battle the Wild at Xcel Energy Center.

Dallas hits the road after snapping a three-game losing streak with Friday night's 2-1 victory over Vancouver. Despite firing a season-high 47 shots on net, only Brad Richards and Brenden Morrow found the back of the net.

Richards extended his point streak to seven games, notching three goals and seven assists on the run, while Marty Turco halted 32 shots in the victory.

"The guys worked so well in the first two periods, you almost feel like it's one of those games where you deserved some breathing room in the third period, but that certainly wasn't the case," said Turco.

Dallas played without leading goal scorer James Neal, who has nine markers on the season but missed the contest with a groin injury. He is day-to-day, but did not make the trip to Minnesota.

Dallas is 4-1-3 on the road this year.

The Wild had won consecutive games for the first time this season prior to Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Canucks. The setback was also just Minnesota's second at home this season (4-2-0).

Kyle Brodziak scored twice, but goaltender Niklas Backstrom allowed four goals on 17 shots through two periods. Josh Harding stopped all four shots he faced in relief.

Brodziak notched the fourth two-goal game of his career and first since March 7. Brent Burns added an assist to give him two goals and four assists in his last eight games.

"That first period was unbelievable, how bad we played. We just weren't skating and looked like we weren't ready to battle," said Brodziak. "You can tell the difference by midway through the second period, but it's putting together a full 60 minutes that is crucial."

Eric Belanger is questionable for this game due to an upper-body injury suffered versus the Canucks. He has four goals and eight assists on the season.

Dallas has won six of eight and 12 of the last 15 meetings between the two clubs, but has lost three of its last five in Minnesota.
