Missouri QB Daniel Highlights 13 Signed By Redskins

Ashburn, VA -- (Sports Network) - The Washington Redskins agreed to terms with 13 rookie free agents on Monday, including standout Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel.Daniel threw for 4,335 yards and posted a 72.9 completion percentage with 39 TD passes and 18 interceptions as a senior in 2008, helping Missouri to a 10-4 regular-season record while competing in a stacked Big 12 Conference. The Tigers ended their season on a high note with a 30-23 OT win against Northwestern in the Alamo Bowl. Over his four-year tenure with Missouri, Daniel threw for 12,379 yards and 101 touchdowns with just 40 interceptions. His record-setting 2007 season as a junior set single-season school records for total offense (4,454), passing yards (4,170) and touchdown passes (33) on his way to earning Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year honors, First-team All-Big 12 notoriety and a fourth-place finish in the Heisman Trophy voting. His string of 254 passes without an interception during his junior campaign set a Big 12 record and was just 17 passes shy of the NCAA record. In addition, Washington signed tight ends Robert Agnone of Delaware and Washington State's Devin Frischknecht, defensive tackles Antonio Dixon of Miami-Florida and UCLA's Brigham Harwell, wide receivers John Halman of Concordia and Oregon's Jaison Williams, Maryland offensive linemen Scott Burley and Edwin Williams, Michigan cornerback Doug Dutch, Oklahoma safety Lendy Holmes, Arizona linebacker Ronnie Palmer and Illinois defensive end Derek Walker.
