Redskins Re-Sign DT Golston

Ashburn, VA (Sports Network) - The Washington Redskins re-signed defensive tackle Kedric Golston to a one-year contract on Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Golston was a restricted free agent and is the third and final 'Skins player to sign deals that were earlier tendered by the club joining fellow lineman Anthony Montgomery and kicker Shaun Suisham.

A sixth-round selection of Washington in the 2006 NFL Draft, Golston has started 25 games in three seasons with 83 tackles, 3 1/2 sacks and a safety to his credit.

The 25-year-old University of Georgia product started 12 of the 13 games in which he played last season, making 44 tackles and posting a half-sack.
