NCAA Game Summary - Brown At Penn

(Sports Network) - Harrison Gaines tallied 14 points and seven boards to pace the Penn Quakers in a 64-54 win over the Brown Bears in Ivy League action at The Palestra.

Kevin Egee added 13 points for Penn (9-16, 5-6 Ivy), which won for the first time in six conference home games. Rob Belcore posted 11 points and five boards, and Zack Rosen logged 10 and four assists.

Matt Mullery finished with a double-double of 19 points and 10 boards for the Bears (7-19, 1-11), who dropped their fourth straight game and fell to 1-14 on the road.

Penn made just 25.0 percent of its field goal attempts in the opening half and that allowed Brown to grab a 23-21 edge at the break.

The Quakers turned it around in the second frame, shooting 51.9 percent from the floor on their way to the 10-point win.

Penn, which snapped a seven-game slide at The Palestra, forced 16 turnovers and tallied 17 points off them.
