BOSTON -- Former Red Sox superstar Manny Ramirez told a reporter Sunday night that it was "good" the Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Red Sox.

In a brief interview with a reporter for the Web site TMZ.com, Ramirez said he did not watch the game. When asked his reaction to the Tampa Bay victory, Ramirez replied "Good, good."

Ramirez was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in July after his fractious relationship with the team became too difficult for both sides.

He is now a free agent and can sign with any team he wishes.
