BOSTON -- The New England Patriots haven't just been lucrative for owner Bob Kraft and Foxborough -- local businesses are also cashing in on the team's success.NewsCenter 5's Jim Boyd reported that College Hype T-shirt company in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood is printing one shirt that reads "Perfection" every seven seconds to celebrate the New England Patriots undefeated regular season.College Hype's Joe Foley said the company came up with the "perfection" idea in October, when it seemed the Patriots were on their way to making history. College Hype crossed their fingers and waited until last weekend's season finale in the Meadowlands. Then it was time to take action in what's called hot-market printing."On Saturday night after they finally won, we knew we had to come up with a shirt. We knew we had to make the shirt -- it's a great concept. What we did on Saturday night was start the presses, start the printing and start things going," Foley said. The company has no agreement with the Patriots, so it has to avoid using the team name or logo or other trademarks. But the shirts are designed to have the Patriots "look." So far, College Hype has made about 1,000 "perfection" shirts. They're hoping it will catch on like their last big hit -- "We Did It Again" shirts honoring the 2007 Red Sox World Series championship.Foley said the company has to move quickly while the idea is still hot on the minds of Patriots fans."If the buzz is still there, which I think it is, I mean, everybody right now is loving the Pats. So I think this is something that's going to stick around for the next two or three weeks, or three months or even next year," he said.
