Knickerbockers Conclude Trek In Seattle

(Sports Network) - The New York Knicks wrap up a five-game road trip when they visit the Seattle SuperSonics tonight at KeyArena.

New York is 1-3 on the current swing. Eddy Curry scored 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Knicks defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 99-81, on Wednesday at the Rose Garden.

Jamal Crawford added 25 points and six assists in the win over Portland for the Knicks, who snapped a three-game skid. Stephon Marbury ended with 17 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for New York.

The Knicks are 6-11 on the road this season. After tonight's contest, they return home for a three-game homestand. New York is scheduled to host Philadelphia, Charlotte and Sacramento on the upcoming stand.

Seattle attempts to halt a two-game skid. On Wednesday, Tracy McGrady finished with 31 points on 11-for-21 from the floor, as the Houston Rockets downed the SuperSonics, 103-96, at the Toyota Center.

Ray Allen scored 32 points in the loss to Houston for the SuperSonics, who have dropped four of their last five games overall. Damien Wilkins scored 19 points and Chris Wilcox netted 13 in defeat.

The SuperSonics are 9-7 at home this season. They will visit the Golden State Warriors on Saturday at ORACLE Arena and the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday at US Airways Center.

This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. The Knicks are scheduled to host Seattle on March 6th at Madison Square Garden.

New York has lost four of its last six at Seattle. The Knicks have won two in a row in this series.
