Limit one entry per person. All valid entries must have a video (posted to YouTube) demonstrating dance and/or singing skills or submit a picture and an essay in 200 words or less describing why you are 'the one". By entering into this Contest, each entrant represents and warrants that (i) his or her submission is entrant's own original, previously unpublished work; (ii) that entrant owns the copyright in and to the submission; (iii) that such submission does not violate the rights of any third party or infringe or violate any law, and as of the date of the submission, is not the subject of any actual or threatened litigation or claim; and (iv) the submission does not and will not violate any applicable laws, and is not and will not be defamatory, libelous, pornographic or obscene. Note: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any submission in the Contest if Sponsor views the submission as potentially infringing or otherwise a violation or potential violation of a third party's rights or if it deems the submission to be lacking in taste, quality, or to be otherwise objectionable. Winners: Eight (8) finalists - four (4) male and four (4) females will be chosen by popular vote on the "Be The One" website on September 14, 2008. Out of those eight (8) finalists one grand prize winner will be chosen by Representatives from Broadway Across America-Boston on September 17, 2008. Representatives from Broadway Across America-Boston will review the submissions of the finalists and select one (1) grand prize winner using the following judging criteria: 1] Quality (25%); 2] Composition (25%); and 3] Adherence to Theme (50%).) Winners will be announced on www.thebostonchannel.com on or about September 17, 2008 and in addition will be notified by email, mail or telephone.

Prizes and approximate retail values:One Grand Prize will be awarded which includes a prize package of A Chorus Line Merchandise ($100), two (2) theater tickets to see A Chorus Line at The Boston Opera House on Sunday September 21 at 7:30pm (approximate retail value $200), a $200 gift certificate to LINEaGe Restaurant in Brookline, MA ($200); a one night stay at the Hyatt, One Avenue de Lafayette, Boston, MA, 02111 USA. Gift certificate valid for 9/21/08 only. Call (617) 912-1234 and mention the gift certificate to book room. Check in on 9/21/08 at 2pm, check out at 11am on 9/22/08. Runners-Up First Prizes will be awarded to each of the seven remaining finalists: each will receive- Two (2) theater tickets to see A Chorus Line at the Boston Opera House Sunday, September 21 at 7:30pm (approximate retail value $200), and A Chorus Line memorabilia. Total ARV of each runners-up prize: $225.

Redemption: All prize awards must be redeemed by September 19, 2008. Tickets and other prizes may not be redeemed for cash. All other expenses relating to the Prize package, including any federal or state taxes, are the sole responsibility of each winner. In the event the show A Chorus Line is cancelled or postponed for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to award the remainder of the prize with no further obligation to the winner.

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the United States who, as of August 21 2008, are 18 years of age or older. Employees of the company A Chorus Line, Broadway Across America-Boston, and WCVB, Internet Broadcasting and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in same household are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except as provided herein. All federal/state/local taxes are the sole responsibility of Prize winners. All federal/state/local laws and regulations apply. Release: All selected finalists and prize winners must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form prior to within seven (7) days of notification. Noncompliance/return of prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. In the event of any dispute as to who submitted an online entry (email), the entry shall be deemed submitted by the "authorized holder" of the email account. The "authorized holder" shall mean the natural person assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.).

Disqualification: Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the website or who is otherwise in violation of the Official Rules. Sponsors may prohibit an entrant from participating in this sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in their sole discretion, Sponsors determine that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of this sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsors' representatives.
