Varicose veins are enlarged veins that can be flesh colored, dark purple or blue. They often look like cords and appear twisted and bulging. They are swollen and raised above the surface of the skin. Varicose veins are commonly found on the backs of the calves or on the inside of the leg. Click here for more information and for client testimonials.

The cause of varicose and spider veins is not known. However, in many cases, they run in families. Women seem to develop this problem more often than men. Changes in estrogen levels in the blood may have a role in the development of varicose veins. This may be due to taking the contraceptive pill or hormone replacement therapy, or due to natural hormonal fluctuations such as puberty, pregnancy, breast-feeding and menopause. Other factors that may contribute include:
- Standing or sitting for long periods, obesity, leg injury, other things that weaken vein valves.
- Some people have multiple leaking valves. UGS closes these abnormal veins and restores the circulation back to normal.

B&B Aesthetics and Skincare is the 1st Practice in New England to offer SMARTLIPO - Zap those unwanted areas of FAT with the latest FDA approved treatment for Laser Assisted Lipolysis. This gentle way of liquifying and
removing fat also promotes skin tightening. Treat frustrating diet and exercise resistant areas like: chin, jowls, neck, lovehandles, saddlebags, abdomen, buttocks, inner thigh, and outer thigh.
This procedure is much less invasive than standard liposuction, which involves an incision large enough to handle the removal of solid globs of fat, and several ensuing weeks of pain, residual bruises, and physical recovery. The laser procedure leaves the patient virtually pain-and bruise-free, with recovery time a matter of days.
Fat Zapping has immediate and specific "body sculpting" effects.Since the heat involved with fat melting also stimulates collagen production, the skin tightens as the fat is removed, minimizing post-lipo sags and folds.
More than 400,000 conventional liposuctions were performed last year, making it the most common cosmetic surgical procedure in America.
