Woman Gets Assault Evidence -- His Testicles

Reattachment Surgery Unsuccessful

CHICAGO, 12:37 p.m. EDT May 24, 2001 -- It seems that Lorena Bobbitt may have a little competition.

An unidentified woman walked into the Chicago Police Department Friday and handed over what police identified as a pair of men's testicles.

The woman, 42, claimed that she bit the testicles off a man, identified as 21-year-old Eric Williams, who allegedly sexually assaulted her, according to police.

"During the assault, the female victim got the man's testicles in her mouth and bit them off," Officer Thomas Donegan told Reuters.

The woman handed over the testicles at headquarters, which is a short distance from where the alleged attack occurred, police said.

Williams, whose testicles are missing, checked himself into a local hospital where he was questioned about the supposed attack.

Surgeons were unsuccessful in reattaching the testicles.

Williams, according to the Chicago Sun Times said that he was charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault.
