BOSTON -- Democratic candidate for governor Tom Reilly picked up some key endorsements Tuesday.NewsCenter 5's Janet Wu reported that Reilly's endorsement from Rep. Stephen Lynch is important."I am speaking to you as an iron worker, not as a member of Congress," Lynch said."I think the projections are low. I think that it's to our advantage," Massachusetts Fire Association spokesman Robert McCarthy said.Reilly said that he will stress his blue-collar roots and the fact that he is the only non-millionaire in the Democratic race."It's amazing. A Democratic primary, and I am the only one with a day job," Reilly said. "I'll tell you this, they may outspend us, but they won't out work us and they won't out hustle."His offense may be overshadowed by his defense. Two attack ads will debut on Wednesday. He'll tell voters he is the only Democrat supporting an immediate tax rollback."I am the only one in this race that has an accepted practice in the state by Republicans and Democrats to release their tax returns, to be open and forthright before they vote on the office of governor," Reilly said.
