If Sen. Hillary Clinton's emotional response to a question on the day before the New Hampshire primary helped stall Barack Obama's momentum, the voter who asked the question didn't help the effort. Watch emotional answer

Marianne Pernold-Young told CNN Wednesday that she voted for Obama.

On Monday, Young asked Clinton how she was holding up under the rigors of a presidential campaign — a question that caused the presidential candidate's eyes to tear up and voice to break.

That moment dominated news coverage as New Hampshire Democrats went to the polls.

Young told CNN that she was touched, but it was not enough to convince her to support Clinton. Obama "has this enormous electricity. And I was just taken aback. And I just had to go with my feelings," Young said.

Young's question and Clinton's answer became the most covered event of the campaign to date.

On Tuesday, Clinton dominated among voters who said a "candidate who cares about people" was the most important factor in their vote, according to an exit poll conducted for WCVB-TV and TheBostonChannel.com.
