Cowboys' Romo, Witten Limited In Practice

POSTED: 7:53 pm EST November 24, 2009

(Sports Network) - Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten were limited by injury during Tuesday's practice in preparation for their Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Oakland Raiders.

Romo suffered a back injury in last Sunday's narrow victory over Washington and needed a pain-relieving shot after the game. He took a knee to his lower back in the first quarter of Dallas' 7-6 win, but remained to play out the rest of the game.

Witten is dealing with a foot injury that caused him to miss practice Monday. He practiced in a limited capacity on Tuesday.

Also limited in practice Tuesday was linebacker Keith Brooking, who injured his ankle late in the game against the Redskins. He expects to play against Oakland.

Safety Ken Hamlin sat out last week's game due to a high ankle sprain suffered in a Week 10 loss to Green Bay and hasn't been able to practice since. He is likely out for Thursday.
