MANSFIELD, Mass. -- An 18-year-old man was killed Monday after he was shot in the head while sitting in a vehicle outside an apartment complex in Mansfield.

Andrew Colwell, 18, of 83 Tonya Drive, Mansfield, was shot while he was inside his Jeep on Erick Road. Colwell was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital.

Using SWAT and K-9 units, state and local police searched the area for as many as three people involved with the shooting. No arrests have been made.
