A South End teenager who became Boston's most recent murder victim Sunday night had an outstanding record of achievement.

NewsCenter 5's Amalia Barreda reported that Abdirauf Abdullahi was a refugee from Somalia and an American success story in the making.

Two 15-year-olds have been charged in connection with Abdullahi's death.

"He was such a good kid. Everyone loved him. He was loved by everybody," said Ashma Abdulkadir, Abdullahi's cousin.

Prosecutors said that Abdullahi and a friend were walking home through Peter's Park in the South End at about 11:30 p.m. Abdullahi was shot once in the chest.

Eloy Sierra of Randolph was ordered held without after his arraignment in court Monday. Another 15-year-old was arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court and held on $200,000 bail.

Abdullahi was a recent graduate of Concord Carlisle High School.
