Massachusetts drivers can support the Red Sox or Cape Cod and the islands on their license plates and soon might be able to support adoption over abortion.

Wakefield's Merry Nordeen is the driving force behind "Choose Life" license plates.

If she gets 3,000 people to register on her Web site, the plates will become available to anyone who wants to pay $40.

Planned Parenthood is against the plate proposal saying state government should not endorse political messages on license plates.
