Friday, May 5: Main Streets, Back Roads: Manchester, Vermont

In 1989, we spent some time with Ivan Beattie, a Vermonter who raises beautiful Morgan horses. Tonight, we pay him a return visit, and find that things have changed on his farm.

We also find some painted horses in the fields of Manchester, and discover the intriguing story behind their creation.

Plus, we hear how a junk man coaxes memorable music out of other people's discards, enter the colorful world of designer Susan Sargent, and stop at a grand Victorian inn with a connection to a famous playwright.
