A best-selling brand of dog treats may pose a health risk for your dog.

At least 13 dogs have died after eating Greenies dog treats. Pet owners and vets have been complaining that the treats, which are in the shape of a bone, are a choking hazard and pose digestive problems when eaten whole.

The company that makes Greenies plans to change the product's packaging to warn pet owners.

The company said that most dogs can only digest about 85 percent of the treat. Vets recommend you cut the treat in half before feeding it to your pet.
