Wake Scheduled For Slain Mom, Baby

Report Says Husband May Have Had Access To Gun

A private wake will be held Tuesday for a mother and her 9-month-old baby found murdered in their Hopkinton, Mass., home.

There is no word whether Neil Entwistle, 27, will attend the wake or Wednesday's funeral in Plymouth for his wife Rachel, 27, and daughter Lillian which is scheduled for St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Entwistle is believed to be at his parent's house in England.

There's a new report Tuesday morning that Neil Entwistle may have had access to a gun before the murders. The Boston Herald reported that Rachel Entwistle's stepfather has an active license to carry handguns.

The couple lived with him before moving to Hopkinton days before the murders. Authorities will not comment. They said they have not recovered the murder weapon.

Neil Entwistle is not a suspect and is still considered just a "person of interest" in the case.
