BOSTON -- The husband of a woman found shot to death with her daughter in her Hopkinton home will talk to investigators at the U.S. Embassy in London Friday. The bodies of Rachel Entwistle, 27, and her 9-month-old daughter, Lillian Rose, were found in a bed at their Hopkinton home Sunday.NewsCenter 5's Janet Wu reported that a police car arrived at Neil Entwistle's parents' home in Worksop, England, early Friday. Two local police officers escorted Neil Entwistle and another unidentified man from the house and drove them to the embassy in London.Massachusetts investigators, including two state police officers and two Hopkinton detectives, were waiting for him at the American Embassy, according to sources. Neil Entwistle departed the embassy Friday evening after an interview that was described as "not long."A spokeswoman for police in Nottinghamshire County, where Neil Entwistle's parents live, issued a statement Friday."Neil Entwistle has agreed to voluntarily attend the U.S. Embassy in London to speak to U.S. authorities in connection with the deaths of his wife and daughter. Officers from Nottinghamshire police offered to assist by driving him to the U.S. Embassy this morning. Mr. Entwistle is not under arrest," Rebecca Tomlinson said.Middlesex District Attorney Martha Coakley has not commented on the interview, but continued to call Neil Entwistle a person of interest. Her office said Friday that Neil Entwistle is not under arrest and if he is returning to the United States, he is free to do so, and will not be accompanied by anyone investigating the deaths of his wife and daughter. Coakley said there has been no decision on when the investigators will be returning to the United States, since they originally had plans to speak with Entwistle's friends, family and former colleagues in England.According to Coakley's office, police first were called to the home on Jan. 21 to conduct a well-being check when the family didn’t answer the door for invited guests. Police searched the home and concluded no one was home. Police said the bed was in disarray with several layers of thick bedding and pillows, but it only appeared that the bed had not been made that day. After not hearing from Rachel Entwistle and searching the home themselves, her family grew concerned and went to the police to file a missing person report Sunday, Coakley's office said. During a second search of the home Sunday, police detected an odor indicating that there could be deceased individuals in the home. That is when police found the bodies in the bed.The exact time of death of Rachel and Lillian Rose Entwistle has not been determined, but investigators believe Neil Entwistle went to Boston's Logan International Airport, leaving his car in the parking structure, during the same 48-hour time period that his family was killed.Meanwhile, eBay officials confirmed they closed Neil Entwistle's account less than three weeks ago when customers began complaining that either he or his wife failed to deliver software products sold through the online auction site. Coakley said they were investigating all of the Entwistle's business ventures, but will not say if there is any connection to the online activity and the death of the family. Both deaths were the result of bullets from a small-caliber gun. The district attorney's office said neither Entwistles had a gun permit in this country. It is unclear if they had a license in England.Funeral arrangements for Rachel and Lillian Entwistle were confirmed Friday. A wake will be held Tuesday at Shepherd Funeral Home in Kingston from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at St. Peter's Church in Plymouth at 11 a.m.
