BOSTON -- Authorities still don't know who shot and killed a mother and her baby inside their Hopkinton home last weekend, but they have talked with the victim's husband, who is out of the country.

Rachel Entwistle, 27, and her 9-month-old daughter, Lillian, were found shot to death in their home Sunday.

After several days of searching, police tracked Neil Entwistle down after finding his BMW car at Logan International Airport. He reportedly contacted police Tuesday from overseas.

"The car that Neil Entwistle was driving has been found. Police have that vehicle at this time," Middlesex County District Attorney Martha Coakley said.

Coakley would not confirm Neil Entwistle's location.

"We are aware of where he is. We have, in fact, been in touch with him, and continue to investigate this case," Coakley said.

Neil Entwistle grew up in Nottingham, England, where he attended the Valley School.

"We are stunned to hear he has been linked to the this incident in Massachusetts. People have jumped to all sorts of conclusions. But the things that have been said, the staff here can't understand where it is coming from," Valley School Headmaster Brian Rossiter said.

The couple apparently met while she was studying in England. Rachel Entwistle eventually took a job teaching English and drama.

The principal at St. Augustine's School said in a statement released to NewsCenter 5, "Our school community is deeply saddened to hear of her tragic death and that of her baby, Lillian Rose. Rachel was a much loved and respected teacher. She was a happy and vivacious young woman who took great delight in the joys of motherhood."

Rachel Entwistle grew up on the South Shore where she attended Silver Lake Regional High School in Kingston. Her mother lives in Carver.
