NewsCenter 5's Gail Huff reported that fans started lining up Sunday night to meet Damon Monday.

"I'm still shaking. I go to college five minutes from Fenway Park and this is closest I've been to Johnny and this is amazing," said one fan.

"This is a treasure for the refrigerator so I can see it all the time," said another fan of her picture taken with Damon.

"I am looking at him in person for the first time and he really does look like Jesus," said another fan.

Fans started waiting in line at 9 p.m. Sunday. Three hundred were able to have their picture taken with the Sox star.

"We had on blanket to share between the three of us. But we managed," said one fan.

One fan stood in the crowd with a sign that asked Damon to marry her.

"I love him," she said.

"I love you, too. Thank you," he said.

But Damon is engaged, although he would not say when or where the wedding would be.

"If I say that, there might be thousands of people showing up," he said.

Fans disagreed on whether Damon should keep his long hair or cut it off.

"He looks sexier when he is all shaved," said one fan.

"Keep it. Definitely keep it," said another fan. "He does great things with it. It is all about the hair."

"The hair is going to get somewhat of a trim at Tim Wakefield's charity golf tournament in Melbourne, Fla., to help raise money for the hospital he has," said Damon.

Over the weekend, Damon even appeared on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and he will appear on the "Late Show with David Letterman" Monday night.
