Jewelry Store Robber Leaves Tip Of Finger Behind
Cops Catch Robber As He Seeks Emergency Room Treatment

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A jewelry store robber left police a big clue after he and two other men robbed a Kansas City jewelry store Tuesday.
Police said the men walked into the business armed with a crow bar and other tools. They smashed display cases, grabbed jewelry and fled.The owner of the store and his 3-year-old son were present when the robbery happened. They were not hurt, according to KMBC-TV in Kansas City.The station reported that one of the robbers left behind the severed pad of a finger. He was arrested Wednesday morning after going to a hospital for treatment. His name has not been released, pending charges. Police are looking for two other men.
