Search For Missing Lifeguard Expands
Authorites Spread Search To Nearby Towns
Police have expanded the search to the towns bordering Warren. Brookfield, Brimfield and Palmer are all included in the revised search area.
Authorities instructed searchers to check for clues along back roads and other desolate areas. The immediate area around the pond already has been thoroughly searched three times, Boeri reports.
"We're concentrating on the areas where the likelihood of somebody, maybe, naturally, dumping a body," State Police Capt. Donald Baima said.
Bish was last seen Tuesday morning when her mother dropped her off at Comins Pond in Warren where she works as a lifeguard.
Boeri also reports police have narrowed down their list to two or three possible suspects. Police are concentrating their efforts on investigating convicted sex offenders in the area.
In the meantime, authorities have no immediate plans to call off the search. There are still plenty of places to look, Baima said.
"When we've exhausted everything we can possibly think of -- every area to locate, every abandoned building, every abandoned car, every fire road. When we've exhausted all that, then we'll pull back When there's nothing more to do."
