NewsCenter 5's Steve Sbraccia reported that the pair were found inside a home on Totman Street late Wednesday afternoon.

Police say it is too early to call the case a murder-suicide and will continue to investigate what happened.

Police said they found the 13-year-old upstairs and her mother was found downstairs. Police have not said how the two died.

According to neighbors, the woman and her daughter had recently moved into the duplex from another home on the same street.

State and Woburn police and the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office are investigating.
