Motorcyclist Killed In Collision With Van

Brookfield Victim's Name Not Released

A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday when his bike collided with a van in Brookfield.

A 1997 Dodge Ram van driven by Jacob Bradley, 20, of Greenville, N.H., was traveling westbound on Route 9. The driver turned into the parking lot of Carmella's Italian Kitchen and crossed the path of a motorcycle that was traveling eastbound on Route 9, according to police.

The motorcycle rider, a man, was seriously injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Bradley suffered minor injuries, as did his passengers, Stacey Blanchette, 39, and Amanda Blanchette, 19, both of Worcester.

All three were transported to the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.
