Cops To Be Charged In Stripper Case
Brookline Policemen Facing Assault, Battery Charges

BOSTON -- Two Brookline police officers will face assault and battery charges stemming from a fight over a stripper's fee. The alleged incident happened in March when the officers attended a bachelor party. A stripper's bodyguard said the officers attacked him following an argument over the dancer's payment. Initially four officers faced charges, but a clerk magistrate ruled Wednesday only two would be charged. The bodyguard and stripper will also face charges. A court date has not been set.Brookline police are also filing charges against another 24-year veteran of the force in an alleged assault case.Officials said Officer Scott Seto is facing indecent assault and battery charges. The charges follow an investigation into complaints made by a female resident accusing Seto of "criminal actions" while on the job. Seto has been placed on administrative leave.
