Two Brookline police officers will face assault and battery charges stemming from a fight over a stripper's fee.

The alleged incident happened in March when the officers attended a bachelor party.

A stripper's bodyguard said the officers attacked him following an argument over the dancer's payment.

Initially four officers faced charges, but a clerk magistrate ruled Wednesday only two would be charged.

The bodyguard and stripper will also face charges.

A court date has not been set.

Brookline police are also filing charges against another 24-year veteran of the force in an alleged assault case.

Officials said Officer Scott Seto is facing indecent assault and battery charges.

The charges follow an investigation into complaints made by a female resident accusing Seto of "criminal actions" while on the job.

Seto has been placed on administrative leave.
