BOSTON -- A man escaped with cash after pointing a pair of scissors at a store clerk’s 7-month-old son during a robbery in Fall River on Wednesday, police said.The man brandished a pair of scissors at the Option II Variety store at about 4:45 p.m. and demanded money from the 21-year-old clerk who was behind the counter with her baby, the Herald News reported.The man held the scissors "about 6 inches away from the child’s back and demanded money," according to the police report. The clerk gave the man all the money from the cash drawer.The robber is described as white, 18- to 20-years-old, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, thin to medium build, with many acne scars, wearing sunglasses and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
