BALTIMORE -- Someone bought the winning Mega Millions jackpot ticket in Maryland.
The person will have the choice of a $180 million annuity jackpot or an estimated $113 million in cash.
It's the second time in three months that a Maryland lottery player has won the top prize in the multi-state Mega Millions game.
The jackpot had been building since April 25, 2003, when Mega Millions had its most recent jackpot winner. There had been 15 draws without a jackpot winner.
Mega Millions is played in Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Virginia and Washington.
