Two more bones were discovered Friday in the search for Molly Bish in the Palmer area where crews are searching for evidence in the disappearance of the lifeguard.

Newscenter 5's David Boeri reported that the special lab in Virginia has determined that there is DNA on the first bone discovered, the upper arm bone. Next week that lab can begin comparisons that will enable investigators to conclude if these are the in fact remains Bish.

"What we've discovered at this time is a femur and a rib bone. They have been looked at by Dr. Meyer and she has confirmed that they are consistent with what we have thus far located," said Worcester county District Attorney John Conte in a Friday afternoon press conference.

In the area searched earlier in the week, where they had found human bones before, State and Environmental Police found two more bones bringing the total number of bones discovered to seven. Investigators are committed to recovering the rest of the skeleton regardless of how long the process may take.

"Naturally we will do the best recovery we possible can. In the meantime, while we're there, we will do a thorough search for any evidence we can possibly locate so that whatever possible predator who is operating out here, we are going to find and prosecute and make sure something like this doesn't happen again," said one investigator.

The promising news is that the lab in Virginia think it can do two types of DNA tests -- mitochondrial and nuclear. Nuclear is the far more telling test. Next week, they may finally be able to say definitively whether this is Bish or not.
