PALMER, Mass. -- Investigators returned to Palmer Friday to search for more clues in the disappearance of Molly Bish, but they found nothing new.
NewsCenter 5's David Boeri reported that the search for the missing lifeguard was renewed last week after a hunter found a blue bathing suit matching the description of the one Bish was wearing when she disappeared from Commins Pond in Warren, Mass., nearly three years ago. That swimsuit is being sent to a lab in Springfield, Va., that can do DNA testing on material that has been degraded over time.About 20 state police troopers combed a 2.5-square-mile wooded area in search of any clues. Part of that area was explored shortly after Bish's disappearance."They're going to go 200 yards up and then come back in the same process, so it's a very, very thorough search," District Attorney John Conte said.Conte said the search will resume Tuesday.
