Three men were arrested and charged Thursday after they allegedly went on a three-town mailbox vandalism spree.

Police said residents of Oxford, Charlton and Dudley reported seeing a small, dark-colored sedan with a loud exhaust driving around the communities and vandalizing mailboxes on Thursday. Police pulled over a car, a 1998 Toyota Corolla, in the vicinity of one of the smashed mailboxes that matched the description and found three men inside. They were later identified as the men seen vandalizing the mailboxes, police said.
