EMT Accused In Shooting Commits Suicide
41-Year-Old Found Dead In Dorchester

BOSTON -- A Boston EMT accused of shooting his late work partner's brothers outside a house party in September has committed suicide, according to the Patriot Ledger.Rhys Williams, 41, of Dorchester, allegedly shot John Brinkman, 42, of Quincy, and Paul Brinkman, 36, of Hanover, in Abington.After the shooting, Williams called 911 and then tried to give medical attention to the victims. The victims' brother, Mark Brinkman, who died in May, once worked with Williams.Williams was found dead Monday at his home in Dorchester, the Ledger reported. He's been free since Oct. 28, when he posted a $30,000 bail. He was scheduled to return to court on Dec. 10.Williams was confined to his home and ordered to wear a GPS tracking device. A judge said that he could attend the birth of his child, which was expected in the next few weeks, according to the Ledger.
