Police Probe Stabbing Inside Hospital ER

A person was stabbed and critically injured inside the emergency room at Boston Medical Center on Sunday, police said.

The victim, who has not been identified, was near a group of people inside the hospital waiting room when the attack took place at about 5:15 p.m.

Police said the attack was not random and that the victim had been singled out by the assailant.

Boston Medical Center is located on Harrison Avenue in Boston's South End neighborhood.
