BOSTON -- An early-morning water main break on Tremont Street was expected to jam the morning commute Tuesday when surrounding streets were closed while crews worked to patch up the broken pipe.Check Roads, Traffic The break occurred at 1050 Tremont, near Melnea Cass Boulevard and Shawmut Avenue. Several streets were closed off and motorists were advised to seek alternate routes.The streets were expected to be closed for some time.
