BOSTON -- Text messages and phone calls are raising questions about allegations by a Boston police officer that she was repeatedly raped by a fellow officer who then threatened her husband's life. The young female office said in August a 42-year-old member of the Boston police SWAT team raped her three times in a hotel room that the two were sharing with another officer. The officer, who is pregnant, said she was forced to have sex with him several more times after the trip, claiming he used threats to keep her silent."He could shoot my husband in the head from 500 yards away and no one would know," she told the judge who is considering extending the restraining order she has against her fellow officer. However, NewsCenter 5’s Cheryl Fiandaca reported that that the alleged threats didn't stop her from sending friendly text messages and initiating phone calls to the officer. The woman aggressively pursued a transfer into the same unit where her alleged attacker works, Fiandaca reported.Police transferred her weeks ago. Within days, she discovered she was pregnant and claimed it was the result of the alleged rapes. The Boston Police Department is conducting an internal investigation. The male officer denies the allegations.
